Throughout my many blog posts I’ve taken time to talk about some of my favorite things such as music, skin care, makeup, clothing trends, activities, and more. So today I thought I’d share another category of favorites. In this post, I’m sharing some of my favorite apps that I use on my phone! I recently downloaded several new one’s that my sister introduced me to, and I’m a little obsessed. Normally my phone is filled with social media or puzzle game apps, but my newly downloaded apps are probably my favorite I’ve downloaded in a while.
Let’s start with one of the first one’s my sister introduced me to, and that’s Duolingo. Have you been wanting to learn a new language, but not sure where to start? You should consider checking out this app. It gives you a vast collection of languages to choose from, and it’s a lot of fun! I’m currently doing the Spanish lessons, and it’s helped me pick back up things I already knew. It’s also helped me learn a lot of new things. I highly recommend it as a starting point for learning a new language.
This app is really helpful, and it’s also super cute! It’s called Plant Nanny, and it’s an app to help you drink more water. I’m not sure about you, but I sometimes struggle with making sure I’m drinking enough water. This app is a complete game changer! You have a cute plant that needs to be watered, and so each time you drink water you let the app know. By drinking water your plant gets watered and grows. If you aren’t drinking enough then the cute little guy looks sad, and trust me when I say you don’t want that. It will make you feel sad. I’ve only had it a couple of weeks, but it’s helped so much! So download the app, grab a water bottle, and drink up!!
Here’s where we start with apps that I found without my sisters help! It’s called Daylio, and it’s basically a journal. Each day you rate how your day was, select some activities that you did, and you can also write a sentence or two about the day. To be honest I’ve been struggling with my mental health a bit lately, and so I thought having something like this would be a good idea. This way I can go, and keep track of my good and bad days. I plan to also start journaling in a legit journal as well, but I think this app is really helpful for just a quick note about your day. It also seems like a good way to keep a perspective on your life. This is another app that I’ve only had a few weeks, but I’ve already grown to love it a lot!
I’ve had this app for a while now, and I love it! I’m one of those people who likes to attempt to have an IG that looks somewhat put together. I’m not phenomenal at it, but I attempt. I just like to be able to look at a page, and see a theme or some type of flow. To keep some type of flow for my own IG I like to use VSCO. My favorite filters to use are the M filters, and recently I’ve found myself using M5 a lot. I also like to use it to sometimes lighten or darken a picture. If you’re looking for an editing app that’s simple to use then I definitely recommend this one! I know a lot of people already know about and use this app. It’s probably my most used app though so not including it on a post about my favorite apps feels like a lie.
I can’t really talk about a photo editing app, and then not talk about Instagram. If you follow me (ashnouterspace) then this probably doesn’t surprise you. You’re probably like, “yeah I know you like IG because you’re constantly posting.” I just really enjoy the app, and I really enjoy sharing the photos that I love. I also love following all the amazing pages that I’ve found on IG. I could definitely try to do a little better about cutting back my time on the app it’s just so addicting and inspiring though.
There you have it! A few of the apps that I love right now! They’re all free to download, and I believe you should be able to find them in any app store. I’m sure most of you probably use IG, but does anyone use any of the other apps I’ve shared? I’d love to hear from you! Whether you’re already using one of them or you decide to try one out be sure to let me know in the comments below! Or maybe you have some other app that you really enjoy using. I’d love hear about those as well so that maybe I can find some other great one’s to download! Hope you enjoyed reading, and that you have a great week! See you next time!
