It’s 2019!!! Happy New Year everyone! I feel like we were just starting 2018! I’m excited about a new year and a fresh start though. Speaking of starts! I thought I’d start 2019 in blog posts the way that I ended 2018, and that’s by the 2019 letter to my self. I don’t really do resolutions, but I do have goals for myself and try to set expectations for myself. I want to have a better year this year, and I hope that the goals and expectations I set will help make it a better year.
Dear 2019 self,
The end of 2018 you started to get things together, and you really need to do your best to bring that into this new year. Continue working out, drinking enough water, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, being nice to yourself, and keep growing. Find new ways to improve as a person. Keep up the traveling theme if you can. Try to meet some new people. Continue doing things you love, and try to get back on track of using your phone less. Try new things! You have stuff that you want to do so go do it already! Work on your relationship with God so you continue to grow. Work hard in school, and do what you can to try to work on starting your career. Do better about keeping up with music this year. Don’t be so lazy with your appearance this year! Try to actually look nice more often than not. Overall just be patient with things, but also put effort into things you want. Be open to what comes at you. 2018 was a bad year for your mental health. Keep doing the things that helped you start to feel better. Try to become more of a person that you like, and really do your best to help out and listen more to the people in your life. You’ve got this year! You’re starting on a pretty decent foundation so keep it up!
